I met Tony last year while he was installing windows at my friend’s house. I got a quote from him but we weren’t quite ready to pull the trigger. Tony with America’s Best Windows is by far one of the hardest working contractors I have ever dealt with. Very meticulous and treated my home as if it were his own home. The temp dropped during the install and Tony did everything that he could to keep the house warm during the install. He protected my house and did not let our animals out! It was the little things that Tony did that really impressed us. He made sure that he shut the door each and every time that he went outside and he cleaned the floor during each window install. Having done 2 other remodeling projects in the last couple of years that were horrid nightmares, this one was a pleasure. He met or exceeded everything he said at contract signing. The company owner, Tony, arrived on time for the appointment, he took time to explain the features and benefits of using the Energy Star replacement windows. We built our home with vinyl wrapped wood, energy efficient glass back in 1997. Over the years the windows had began to give us problems, such as rot, and wind drafts. The price was reasonable and less than my neighbor paid two years ago from a well advertised company, with “World”in the name, he advised me to avoid at all cost, due to miss information, late arrival and poor quality installation. We were advised of the six month install date due the the current backlog at the factory, we placed the order and were notified at the three month mark that everything was still on schedule for our installation. We were notified a week out, and Tony arrived on time, the work was done in a very professional manner over the next several days. Yes days not hours, he took time to make sure everything was square and mounted to local code, each window was caulked to avoid any water intrusion, and to leave a smooth transition to the brick and stone. I would highly recommend this company for several reasons, pride in his work, quality product and installation, and a lifetime warranty! I live on a golf course literally between two fairways with a tee box 30 yards off my deck, I have only lost two windows but you never know, and yes they are covered under the warranty!

America’s Best Windows of Birmingham has replaced windows in three houses for me. The owner/installer is quite a craftsman. It is obvious that he takes pride in his work. He showed up promptly on the scheduled day and got right down to work. Had all tools materials and supplies in his truck and did the work efficiently. The caulking he applied around the windows is straight and smooth. After 10 years of use there’s been no cracking or peeling of the caulk or degradation of the windows. The windows are very energy efficient and my utility bills are significantly lower than they were before replacing the windows. Another bonus is the windows open and close easily. My house’s windows slide horizontally to open and close and the replacement windows America’s Best Windows installed still glide easily to open. I selected the option of full screens on all of my windows for a very nominal increase in cost. The tenants in my rental house really appreciate being able to get good ventilation and no bugs. The only thing I wish I would’ve done differently was to have had America’s Best Windows of Birmingham do the job sooner. There are lots of companies that install windows however I don’t know of anyone who does a better job than Americas Best Windows of Birmingham.

Let me start by saying I’ve used America’s Best Windows to replace windows at 2 different houses in the past, and I will not use anyone else. Their focus on customer service, quality of the window & installation, and Tony’s attention to detail are truly second to none. That said, I recently purchased a new house and called them again to come give me a quote to replace a number of windows that have been giving my wife and I trouble. Upon arriving, Tony proceeded to do what I was not expecting at all. He noticed we had newer double-paned vinyl windows that should be working, and he ended up showing and helping me fix the problems we were having with our current windows(I didn’t know it was even fixable). So instead of selling me new windows as it would have been very easy for him to do, he spent almost 2 hours showing and helping me fix the issues we were having with our existing windows and went on to say that he would not recommend replacing these windows at this time. I even offered him cash for his time and help, and he absolutely refused to take it. Hands down the most trustworthy, knowledgeable, and honest company in the business, and I would absolutely recommend them if you are looking to replace the windows in your home!
